Visual Arts 3-Teen
River Tree Arts offers a wide variety of mediums to insure a creative and stimulating environment for all students.
Creative Kids ~ 3:30 – 5:30pm

For grades K-5
6 week session / January 11 – February 29 (no class 1/18 or 2/15)
In this class, students will create their own art pieces. Students will learn how to create art in several different mediums, using different tools and methods each time. This grants a broad knowledge and range of creative skills in a hands on way. Each week students will explore a different topic and have different exercises. Topics covered include drawing, painting, sculpting and collage. Throughout the course, students will be introduced to beginner art projects like handmade paper and popup cards. Students will work in a creative, relaxed environment with a variety of materials and techniques geared towards their age level.
Early Release Wednesdays ~ 12:30 – 3:30pm
Students may take the RSU21 buses to RTA

Everyone is invited to Art Adventures! Each month, students will be inspired by a different theme. Students will have the chance to try different art mediums, explore, create & most importantly, have fun in the art room!
After School Art ~ 3:30 – 5:30pm
Grades K +
6 week session : Jan 14 – Feb 25 (no class 2/18)
Students will learn basic printmaking techniques while also incorporating related mediums. This class is sure to get those creative juices flowing as students explore the many artistic possibilities of paper art and printmaking. Fold, tear, press, cut, and make lasting connections to the many ways to play with paper!
Students from 3 – Teen have access to many different arts and crafts within our after school classes and summer camps.
