Kids Art Party with a River Tree Arts Teacher

$150 for up to 12 kids for 1.5 hours. Additional $5 per child up to 15 kids. If more than 15 children, price will vary depending on # of teachers needed. Can be customized for ages 3-12.
Choose 2 projects from our menu: painting on canvas boards, clay table, printmaking or craft table. Kids will work on their projects for 45 minutes to an hour, depending on age of students. The rest of the time is spent opening presents, eating cake & preparing artwork to go home at pick up.
Separate room for cake & presents available, at no additional cost.

Juggling Party with Abbeth

$150 for up to 12 kids, 1.5 hours. Additional $5 per child up to 15 kids. If more than 15 children, price will vary depending on # of teachers needed. Best for ages 8+ (adults, too!)
Bring your friends to learn the basics of juggling! Party guests will make their own bean bags to practice with while they are taught by Portland fire juggler & RTA faculty, Abbeth Russell. Separate room for cake & presents available, at no additional cost. Want to have this party at your home or school? We can do that, too!

Japanese Papermaking Party: with Gayle Fitzpatrick

$150 for up to 10 kids (ages 8+) OR 8 adults. $8 per additional person.
Beginning with tree bark from the Orient, students will learn the processes of cooking & cleaning the pulp by hand, as well as dying pulp, and how to form sheets using a traditional Japanese su-geta. Make and take as many sheets as we have time for. No papermaking experience required. Bring waterproof shoes and expect to get a little wet. BYOB available for adult parties. Birthday Parties:
Your 1.5 hour party will include studio time with age appropriate art projects as well as an art teacher to guide the guests through the projects. River Tree Arts provides the art projects, art supplies, art teacher as well as project set-up and clean-up. You provide the cake and food, drinks, decorations and music!

A deposit of $75 is required ahead of time to reserve the studio for that day. The remaining balance will be payable by check or credit card on or before the day of the party. The deposit cannot be refunded if the party is cancelled within five days of the scheduled date. If the party is cancelled with 24 hours of notice or less, the full amount will be charged.
