WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 28 2024: NEW EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR ANNOUNCED

River Tree Arts, a prominent non-profit community arts center, is pleased to announce the appointment of Sarah Dearing as its new Executive Director, effective March 4, 2024. With a strong background in arts management, fundraising and community relations, Sarah brings a wealth of experience and a passion for the community and the arts to River Tree Arts.

Sarah joins River Tree Arts from Vinegar Hill, where she was their Managing Director for over 5 years. In her new role, Sarah will oversee the organization’s operations, programming, and strategic direction, working closely with the board, staff, faculty, volunteers, and community partners to further River Tree Arts’ mission of bringing the joy and benefits of the visual and performing arts to everyone in our community.

She is skilled in fostering partnerships, is passionate about nurturing artistic talent, is committed to contributing to the enrichment of the local community and has proven successful in driving financial growth for organizations. All of this, coupled with her leadership skills and ability to execute our mission, makes her the ideal candidate to lead River Tree Arts into the future.
