This summer at River Tree Arts there are various creative opportunities for kids, from one-day workshops to week-long day camps. Please pay close attention to the camp dates and times when registering.

Fantasy, Myths and Magic Worlds

MONDAY-FRIDAY, AUGUST 26-30 (5 days)
Grades 1-5

Instructors:

  • Leah Payne (Art) ; morning session 9-11:30am ; Monday-Friday
  • Emily Bider (Art/Accessories) ; afternoon session 12-3pm ; Tuesday & Thursday
  • Barbara Fraser (Theater/Music) ; afternoon session 12-3pm ; Monday, Wednesday, Friday 

Embark on a fantastical journey into the realms of imagination with our Fantasy, Mythical and Magical Camp. Throughout the week, campers will unleash their creativity with paintings of imaginary worlds, drawings of fantasy characters, and sculptures of magical creatures. Participants will also make their own theatrical jewelry and accessories inspired by the enchanting elements of fantasy. The group will work together on a Mythical Gods & Goddess fable incorporating the set, accessories, music, and costumes designed throughout the week. Don’t miss this opportunity to unleash your child’s imagination and creativity in a world of fantasy, myths and magic and join us for an unforgettable week of exploration, creation, and theatrical adventure!

PLEASE BE ADVISED:

  • Pre-registration is required for all camps. 
  • Camps must have a minimum of 4 attendees in order to run. Camps are subject to cancellation due to low enrollment so don’t delay and register today! 
  • All campers need to have a completed consent form online before the first day of camp: RTA Consent Form
  • If there are any allergies or serious medical information that we need to be aware of before a camp, kindly ensure that you provide this information as early as possible so that we can make the necessary arrangements.  
  • No early drop off or late picks up can be accommodated. Students are asked to stick to camp times.
  • Doors for morning camps will open no earlier than 8:55am. 
  • Be sure to pack a snack and drink for each day of camp. Creativity makes campers hungry! PLEASE BE ADVISED RTA is a NUT-FREE facility. 
  • Don’t dress in your best clothing for camps; art can get messy!
  • If your child is enrolled in back to back camps, they must be picked up after the first camp and then dropped off for the afternoon session. RTA is not able to provide care between camps.
