Hello fellow River Tree Artists & Community!
We wanted to take the time to explain some changes to our annual fundraiser, as well as preface our appreciation, as we once again ask you to donate to River Tree Arts.
Today we would like to introduce you to our new annual event, the River Tree Arts Small Works Fundraiser (formerly 100 x 100). Our annual fundraiser is undergoing several changes as a way to adapt to our ever-changing world.
While the spirit of the event remains the same, the format and parameters will change to accommodate the needs of our community as a whole. We are still ironing out details around the final version of the fundraiser itself, but we can tell you that the sale will be conducted online starting this coming Labor Day weekend (September 4th – September 7th).
River Tree Arts will no longer restrict artists to a 10” x 10” block, but ask that artists work in their own medium and donate a small piece of their choosing to the fundraiser. The only restriction is that the piece be no larger than 12” x 12”. We hope that this will open up our community’s creativity and will also allow us to reduce the number of trips you will have to make to RTA, as we will not provide or require the boards this year. Additionally, we will be changing the price of works sold in the show from $100 to $125.
In an effort to streamline the process for you and the Gallery Committee we ask that you complete the registration form no later than July 3rd, 2020. We will not be able to accept work into the fundraiser if the registration form has not been completed, as the form will include the donation acknowledgement and other pertinent details that are essential to the success of an online show’s launch.
Once registration has closed we will begin to schedule and organize specific drop-off dates and times. For now we can tell you that we will require all donations be dropped off no later than August 14, 2020.
If you have any questions about our new show or how to go about participating please do not hesitate to reach out! As always, thank you for your support and participation.
We greatly value our artists, community, and patrons – as well as the support you all lend us.
The River Tree Arts Gallery Committee
Reminder: River Tree Arts will not be supplying 10×10 blocks this year to reduce contact for our artists, staff, and community. We ask that participating artists work in/on their own medium for this show.
