We are delighted to share with the community, for the fourth year in a row, the artistic talents and high achievements of all River Tree Arts students. We will be showcasing everything that River Tree Arts has to offer with an assortment of student performances.

The Honors Recital & Student Showcase provides our students with the opportunity to shine while showing the community the high level of accomplishment possible at River Tree Arts for both children and adults. We look forward to sharing an inspiring evening with our community! This event will be held at the beautiful YCCC (York County Community College) auditorium.




In honor of National Poetry Month

Emily Dickinson: The Woman, The Poet

Program Description: The original piece, “Emily Dickinson: The Woman The Poet” consisted of narration, letters, and poems and was written and performed as a solo lecture/performance in a Reader’s Theater style at Oak Street Theater in 1997. The current script incorporates a Song Cycle consisting of 12 songs set to poems. A chamber theater version, entitled “A Solitude of Space,” featured the character of the poet, a narrator, three musicians on piano, horns and percussion and a chorus of four singers. This rendition was performed at Berklee College of Music in the spring of 2010.

This performance will be in the chamber theater style with a narrator, a trio of singers, Mosaic, and a pianist. Patricia Mulholland will act as Emily Dickinson, performing her letters, poems, and two songs. Mosaic, will perform the songs.

Calling all River Tree Dancers, Artists & Musicians!  Come and join us for the annual Kennebunk May Day Parade. We will hold a River Tree Arts banner and walk the parade route. Parade starts at 1:30. We will meet at 1pm. Details to follow. Join this one hour mediation which will consist of guided imagery, the breath, mind body awareness, chanting and silent contemplation. Each meditation will cover a particular topic and donations will go to benefit River Tree Arts. Join a group of like minded individuals in a meditation circle to raise money and raise your vibration. No donation is too small. Sessions will also be aired on Facebook Live. Registration is required.
