Fashion Design Workshop for kids

Monday, January 20, 10am – 3pm
Ages 7-12
Instructor: Georgia Renfroe


In this class, students will learn the basic skills of fashion design illustration and fabrication. Using a variety of sewing, art and recycle supplies, students will create their own unique fashion logo/line of fashion designs. Students will make one or two outfits and/or accessories. At the end of this workshop, students will present a fashion showcase or a runway show (2pm parents welcome).

Let’s Knit a Hat!

In this class for knitters who already know the basics (how to cast on, how to knit and how to purl), we’ll knit a seamless hat, in the round, using first a circular needle and then double-pointed needles to finish the top of the hat. Members: $40 (Non-Members: $46)

Join this one-hour mediation which will consist of guided imagery, the breath, mind body awareness, chanting and silent contemplation. Each meditation will cover a particular topic and donations will go to benefit River Tree Arts. Join a group of like minded individuals in a meditation circle to raise money and raise your vibration.
