This Summer, we’re offering various camps, from one day workshops to weeklong morning or afternoon camps. Registrants should pay close attention to the grade, camp dates & times when registering. Campers must be entering the grade noted on the camp description to attend that particular camp (i.e. entering 5th grade this fall).

Pre-registration is required for all camps.

Camps must have a minimum of 4 attendees in order to run. Camps are subject to cancellation if we don’t get enough sign ups so don’t delay and register today!

All campers need to have a completed consent form online before the first day of camp: RTA Consent Form

If there are any allergies or serious medical information that we need to be aware of before a camp, kindly ensure that you provide this information as early as possible so that we can make the necessary arrangements.

NO early drop off or late picks up can be accommodated. Students are asked to stick to camp times. Doors for camps open no earlier than 5 minutes before start time.

Be sure to pack a snack and drink for each day of camp. Creativity makes campers hungry! RTA is a NUT-FREE facility.

JUNE
Multi-Medium Painting (Ages 4-6)
Dates: June 23-27, 2025 (Monday – Friday) Time: 10am – 12pm Age: Ages 4-6 years Cost: Members $200.00 / Non-members $220.00 (all supplies included) Instructor: Jenny Bremser In this ocean-themed 1-week camp, students will explore a variety of painting techniques to help them feel confident and successful with a brush in their hands. Our youngest artists will discover different watercolor techniques that will inspire their individual artistic styles. They’ll dive into color mixing, creating texture, and selecting materials for their projects. Activities will range from quick painting exercises to more detailed works, spanning multiple days. Students will have the chance to work on various surfaces, including canvases, rocks, and traditional paper. Please make sure to wear clothes that are okay to get paint on! |
Drawing and Sculptures (Ages 4-6)

They’ll learn how to shape, mold, and assemble their creations, making everything from animals to collaborative projects. By the end of the week, students will have developed the ability to sketch an idea and bring it to life in 3D! |
Mindful Art Exploration for Ages 6-10
Instructor: Jason McCann Unleash your child’s creativity and focus with this engaging summer workshop! Young artists will explore balance and harmony through the fascinating creation of mandalas, designing intricate circular patterns. They will dive into abstract expressionism, learning to use color and movement to express themselves freely. Daily mindful coloring sessions encourage self-expression and concentration. We will make decorative art pieces like sculptures, as well as functional pottery you can eat and drink food from. The first part of the week will focus on making work in clay and the last day on glazing and finishing pieces. |

Instructor: Leah Payne In this camp, junior illustrators will bring their skills to the next level. We will experiment with many fun drawing games and exercises to spark creativity. We will focus on drawing faces and figures to create compelling characters, and how to put original characters into a scene for story telling. Students will get to create their own characters and settings to go along with their story. Each student will end the week with a finished story book full of their own illustrations. A strong grasp on reading and writing skills is highly encouraged for this camp. |

Instructor: Barbara Fraser We will create a popular, new radio show, designing the roles of announcers and guest artists, writing commercial and product jingles, acting out original stories, creating music/sound effects with easy-to-play instruments. The class ensemble will work on a set for a radio production. Imaginations needed! Max 8 attendees. |
Summer Sewing Camp – Sew a Bag and Charms! (Grades 5-9)
Instructor: Gabrielle Hungerford In this hands-on sewing project, students will create their own personalized tote bag, exploring both machine and hand-sewing techniques. Each student will bring their design to life by customizing their bag using fabric markers, puff paint, or embroidery, giving every project a unique, personal touch. As a fun, decorative addition, students will also craft their own felt charms to attach to their bags. Using materials like felt, embroidery thread, beads, and sequins. By the end of the project, students will walk away with a custom-made, functional bag and a collection of adorable, personalized charms—along with a solid basic foundation in both machine and hand-sewing techniques. |

World of Wonder (Grades PreK – 2)
Instructor: Barbara Fraser Around the continents we go- with music/movement, art, and theater- all rolled into one literacy-based, fun, creative whirlwind. From the magic of Celtic music, harp, recorders, unicorns and dragons, fairies and sorcerers, to the wild animal fables and drums of Africa, to the bells, yoga, and origami of Asia, the class will decide how long to stay, and where we want to dive into next. Max 8 attendees. |

Instructor: Barbara Fraser In this camp, students will design their own (make believe) comedy improv weekly one-hour TV show. This would involve theme music, designing the set, improvisation games, planning segments for the show, regular guests and characters, music, and dance acts. All kinds of talent are welcome. Manga + Anime (Grades 5-8)
Instructor: Emily Bider Explore the exciting world of manga and anime and bring your ideas to life with Emily in this fun, creative class! Learn the basics of manga and anime drawing, character design, symbolism and storytelling while discovering the rich history of manga, from its roots in traditional Japanese art to the rise of anime in the 20th century! Students will be introduced to iconic works and create unique characters and dynamic scenes using a variety of drawing materials such as pencil, ink and paint! Whether you’re a beginner or have experience, this class will help you cultivate your drawing skills and bring your ideas to life through this captivating style of visual art! |
