Welcome to River Tree Arts!

River Tree Arts is a nonprofit arts center that has served our southern Maine communities for more than 40 years, providing a place where creativity is nurtured and explored. Our robust schedule of programs offers something for all ages. Students and visitors can experience visual and performing arts through an array of art classes and workshops, music lessons, and dance classes. Families love our week-long summer camps and hosting creative birthday parties with us. Student dancers proudly perform with our talented, competitive dance team, and we also feature special art gallery exhibits and festive seasonal events.

As a nonprofit, we rely on membership and registration fees, donations, and sponsorships to keep our doors open. Occasional grant funding is also sourced to fund specific projects. We operate with a very small (but mighty!) team of dedicated staff and faculty, supported by our Board of Directors. We are beyond grateful for our community partners and sponsors who help make the magic happen. Every ounce of energy is poured into creating an inclusive, caring environment where ALL can create.
