VOLUNTEER

Join the River Tree Arts Board or Volunteer Team and help shape the future of the arts in the Kennebunks.

We are looking for community leaders that enjoy the following outside of their busy careers or retirees that want to give back to our community in the following ways:

  1. Nonprofit Accounting & Finance – Guide responsible budgeting and fiscal oversight, alongside our Treasurer and Executive Director.
  2. Fundraising & Development – Support sustainability through donor cultivation and campaigns. Join our VP Development Chair and Events Team to create events and campaigns that continue RTA’s sustainability and enrichment in the community.
  3. Digital Marketing & Communications – Expand awareness and engagement across our community.  Do you have a talent for social media, or have time for blog posting, and or helping create digital content along with the Executive Director and Marketing Team?
  4. Physical Plant Oversight – Help us maintain and plan for improvements to our historic facility.
  5. Event Production – Bring creativity and organization to performances and fundraisers.
  6. Accessing In-Kind or Non-Cash Donations – Help secure materials, goods, and services that enhance our events and programs.
  7. Community Outreach & Off-Site Volunteering – Represent River Tree Arts at local events and strengthen partnerships.
  8. On-Site Volunteering – Assist at events, greet visitors at the front desk, help in classrooms, or support summer camps and special projects.
  9. Volunteer Teaching, Assisting, or Class Audits – Share your creative skills or lend a hand to our teaching artists.

Whether you’re ready to serve on our Board of Directors, join our volunteer team or be a committee member, your involvement helps keep the arts accessible and alive in our community. High school students are welcome to join our volunteer community, and time spent at River Tree Arts can be used for volunteer requirements at school.
