It’s Spring! Let’s celebrate with fresh, colorful watercolor paintings inspired by nature. Students will learn tips and tricks to creating beautiful watercolor art, while learning how to paint plants, flowers, mini landscapes, skies, cactus, crystals and more. Every class will explore new techniques through demonstrations and exercises. Students will take home their own artworks and the skills to keep creating.  $170 (RTA members $158)



Grades 3-6

Do you have a child who is always drawing or sketching? Do you have a budding artist at home? Drawing Club offers kids a relaxing but stimulating environment so they can do what they love and learn at the same time! Their creativity will flow as they gain new skills and knowledge. Each week will be a different theme including favorite characters, landscapes, observational drawing, abstract and more! Classes are small and limited to 8 students each.  $170 (RTA member $158)

Instructor: Alice Carroll
(7 weeks)  April 30 – June 11, 2019

Work with metalsmithing tools to form, shape & create your own designs. Hammering and soldering will be the main focus of class. Each student will learn techniques to make their very own sculptures, pendants, bracelets, rings, pendants and more. Boys and girls are encouraged to take this class. * Students who have previously taken this class are encouraged to register again as projects vary with each session. 8 student maximum. $185 (RTA member $170) + $20 materials fee

Instructor: Lucy Hardy
(7 weeks)  April 29 – June 17 (no class 5/27)

Join us in the exciting lifelong skill of sewing in this class where students will learn how to operate a sewing machine, understand cutting, construction, and fabric choice basics. Students will leave class with a completed useful project or two. Please inform RTA at time of registration if student has taken this class before because that will help determine the project. $170 (RTA member $158)

Wednesday, 3:30 – 5:30
Instructor: Brendan Roddy
(7 weeks)  May 1 – June 12, 2019

Back by popular demand, Clay Club offers young artists the opportunity to explore their creativity while experiencing everything clay! Students will experiment with a variety of hand building techniques as well as using the wheel. All projects will be fired in the kiln and students will learn basic glazing applications to finish the work that they create to cherish for years. 8 student maximum.
$182 (RTA member $165) + $20 materials fee

Join us for early release Wednesdays, the first Wednesday of every month. Students will explore a variety of different art mediums. 10 student maximum per workshop. $30 (RTA member $25)

A make-up week has been built into the schedule for missed classes due to inclement weather during the Winter. If there is a missed class, a make-up class will be held the week of 03/04-03/07. If there are no missed classes, the last week of regular classes will be 02/25-02/28.

~ All classes are age specific and have a minimum of 4 students in order to run.
~ Registration closes 5 days prior to each class starting.
~ Classes subject to cancellation if we do not meet the 4 student minimum. ~
